About the role As our Technical Project Manager, you will serve as a crucial link between the engineering team, product leadership, stakeholders, and operations. You’ll ensure that complex technical initiatives are clearly defined, well-coordinated, and delivered on time, with a high degree of quality. This role demands both deep organizational skills and enough technical fluency to understand trade‑offs, dependencies, and risks.
What you'll do
Lead technical projects from inception to delivery across departments (Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Success).
Define project scope, timeline, resources, risks, and dependencies.
Design and implement a governance cadence (design → build → launch).
Drive sprint planning, retrospectives, and weekly progress reviews.
Translate complex requirements into well-scoped engineering tasks.
Manage database operations, automation scripts, and internal agent systems (e.g., Scribe, Interpreter, Receptionist, Apogee).
Support CI/CD pipeline implementation, system integrations, and dev tooling optimization.
Act as the primary liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
Create internal and customer-facing roadmaps, timelines, and presentations.
Identify and mitigate risks early—report directly to Co-Founders.
Qualifications Required
6+ years in technical project management, ideally at startups or high-growth environments.
Experience with JIRA (dashboards, Kanban, filtering, reporting).
Familiarity in technical skills: SQL/NoSQL, Python/Bash scripting, system architecture.
Deep understanding of SDLC, Agile, and CI/CD frameworks.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
Start-up experience and first TPM hire.
Experience in healthcare, biotech, or data infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with change management and risk mitigation strategies.
The expected base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $150,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for performance-based variable compensation and an equity grant, depending on the position and level.
