We are seeking an experienced Head of Consolidation & Reporting to join our finance leadership team. This role will be instrumental in leading our group consolidation function, ensuring accurate financial reporting across our global entities, and supporting our growth trajectory with robust financial controls and processes. Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end group consolidation process for Flutterwave's global entities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, international accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulatory requirements Develop and implement consolidation policies, procedures, and tools to streamline the financial consolidation process across multiple jurisdictions Partner with regional finance teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial information for consolidation purposes Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and related disclosures Lead the coordination with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews of consolidated financial statements Manage a team of consolidation professionals, providing mentorship and technical guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process Collaborate with tax, treasury, and FP&A teams to ensure alignment on group-wide financial matters Support M&A activities by providing consolidation expertise during due diligence and post-merger integration Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting and consolidation, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Deep expertise in US GAAP & IFRS, with strong understanding of consolidation accounting principles Experience working with multinational organizations and managing consolidation across multiple jurisdictions Strong understanding of financial services/fintech industry regulations and reporting requirements Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams Experience with major ERP systems and consolidation tools Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in financial services/fintech or payments company Preferred knowledge of African financial markets and regulatory environment Experience with system implementations and process transformation initiatives Background in Big 4 accounting firm Experience working in a high-growth, global organization
