! Job Summary We are seeking a polished and service-driven

Restaurant Manager

to join the team at

La Mercerie , the celebrated restaurant by Roman and Williams Guild, located in SoHo. La Mercerie is more than a restaurant—it is an

immersive Parisian-inspired experience , where

design, cuisine, and hospitality live in harmony . Guests dine among Roman and Williams Guild’s hand-finished furnishings, tableware, and lighting, surrounded by a spirit of craftsmanship and beauty that defines both the restaurant and the Guild itself.

The ideal candidate is a

refined hospitality leader

who embodies both operational excellence and the artistry of service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily dining room operations and team performance, you will also curate the guest experience from the moment of arrival; managing the door, seating, and the rhythm of service with grace and precision. This is a

hands-on, floor-facing leadership role

for someone who thrives in a high-volume, luxury environment and believes that true hospitality is both timeless and deeply personal.

What you’ll do: Serve as the visible leader on the floor, setting the tone for warm, refined hospitality throughout every service

Manage all aspects of guest arrival, reservations, and seating flow to balance operational efficiency and guest comfort

Lead, train, and inspire the host and front-of-house team to deliver impeccable service that reflects La Mercerie’s identity

Build relationships with regular guests and VIPs, cultivating recognition and loyalty

Collaborate closely with the culinary, pastry, and beverage teams to align service and pacing with the menu experience

Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staffing, floor management, and guest relations

Partner with leadership on scheduling, inventory, and operational needs

Handle guest inquiries and concerns with poise, diplomacy, and a solution-oriented mindset

Ensure that every detail from greeting to farewell reflects the

artistry, care, and warmth of the Roman and Williams Guild

What we’re looking for:

3–5 years of leadership experience in fine dining, boutique hotels, or luxury hospitality

Experience as a Maître D’, Head Host, or Restaurant Manager in a high-volume, service-focused environment

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural ease with high-profile clientele

Deep understanding of luxury dining service standards and guest experience design

Ability to manage floor operations while personally engaging guests with composure and warmth

Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a hospitality-driven schedule
