Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials within Cold Jet's warehouse to support production, receiving, and shipping operations.

Essential Functions

Facilitate the orderly storage of materials in warehouse and production areas Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and organize materials Optimize inventory racks and storage locations for efficiency and accessibility Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Accurately track and document inventory levels and material movements Stock incoming goods in designated locations Collect and dispose of pallets and packaging materials appropriately Identify and suggest improvements to warehousing processes and practices Other Responsibilities

Support shipping and receiving operations as needed Perform additional related duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Certified and experienced forklift operator Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work overtime and adapt to varied tasks as needed Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Effective oral and written communication skills Basic to intermediate computer proficiency (e.g., ERP systems, email, spreadsheets) 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred Working Conditions

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs May require standing, walking, or lifting for extended periods Must meet tight deadlines and maintain a strong customer service focus A high degree of initiative and adaptability is expected Uses independent judgment to make decisions within the scope of responsibilities and supervisor guidance
