Responsibilities Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients in various settings.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Adhere to safety and ethical standards in nursing practice.
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
Educate patients and families about mental health conditions.
Engage in performance evaluations and feedback sessions.
Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient needs.
Utilize evidence-based practices in psychiatric nursing.
Assist in crisis intervention and management of acute situations.
Foster a supportive environment for patients and their families.
Experience/Qualifications Valid RN license in Georgia with a focus on psychiatric nursing.
Strong ethical standards and commitment to patient safety.
Experience in psychiatric nursing or mental health settings preferred.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.
Experience in crisis intervention and acute situation management.
Strong communication skills for patient and family education.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices in psychiatric nursing.
Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation of patient care.
Ability to monitor and assess patient progress effectively.
