Execute routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems Diagnose issues using
mechanical/electrical
troubleshooting methods Complete inspections to ensure safety and optimal performance Document all work performed and parts used Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve reliability and reduce downtime Follow safety rules and regulatory guidelines at all times Other duties as assigned by supervisor What it takes
Minimum 1 year of documented mechanical experience (may be combined across employers) or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program Rehire policy: eligible only after 180 days and fewer than three prior work terms 18+ years of age with valid identification Ability to use basic hand tools and read/understand work assignments Working knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing Physical demands: lift 50 lbs; climb stairs to 120 ft and ladders up to 60 ft; stand for long periods; work in extreme hot/cold and inclement weather Skills that set you apart
