Job Description Responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall strategy, business operations, and financial performance of the Project Advisory practice.

Lead the growth of the practice by identifying opportunities and developing solutions to proactively respond to market changes.

Serve as a subject matter expert in developing client solutions and oversee and grow a team of consultants, including hiring, placement and career development.

Model VERTEX core values and inspire goal achievement through empowerment, learning and creativity among the team.

Qualifications & Competencies

Business Development, Leadership, Strategic Planning

Meet or exceed the defined annual budget for the entire Project Advisory practice.

Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing programs to acquire and expand engagements.

Effectively delegate assignments to direct reports and monitor progress.

Operations

Prepare and execute Project Advisory practice strategic plans aligned with organization vision.

Build strong cross‑functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Ensure compliance of operations with all local, state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field or advanced degree.

Minimum 15 years of industry experience and 10+ years as a senior leader of a division or department.

Consistently generate a minimum of $3M revenue annually from individual client relationships.
