Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Analyst with expertise in data tracking (event tracking/digital analytics) and BI tools to drive data-informed strategies for our clients. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data analysis, a strong technical foundation, and a passion for transforming raw data into impactful business insights.
Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize event tracking (data instrumentation) for web/mobile applications to capture critical user behaviors and business metrics.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to define KPIs, tracking requirements, and data collection strategies.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports (using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to monitor performance and uncover trends.
Analyze A/B tests, funnel conversions, and user journeys to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency by validating tracking implementations and troubleshooting discrepancies.
Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.
Strong expertise in event tracking/data instrumentation (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or custom SDKs).
Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
Experience with Python/R for advanced analysis (e.g., regression, clustering) is a plus.
Familiarity with data pipelines (ETL, Airflow) and cloud platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
Ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Knowledge of statistical experimentation (A/B testing, causal inference).
Experience in gaming, ad-tech, or digital media analytics.
