About The Role
Grade Level: 10
As a market leader in illiquid portfolio pricing, our Private Equity professionals assist clients in post‑trade valuation of alternative investments, specifically for debt and equity positions where no active market quotations are available.
Responsibility & Impact
Deliver valuation services to alternative investment community including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, banks, institutional investors and fund administrators.
Build and review cash‑flow models using Excel, IntexCalc, IntexLink; use SQL for data extraction and reconciliation; apply Python to automate tasks.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine models and ensure accuracy, transparency, and scalability in all valuation deliverables.
Periodically liaise with valuation committees on methodology, auditors on regulatory requests and developers on new technology.
Basic Qualifications
Qualified accountant or CFA charterholder (or in process of obtaining qualification)
Experience constructing and reviewing valuation models (DCF, comparable, bond, other intangible asset models)
Hands‑on exposure to securitizations (CLOs, ABS, CMBS)
Proficiency in Excel, IntexCalc, IntexLink, advanced Excel, Python, SQL
Broad understanding of SPV structures and underlying asset classes, including ABS, CLOs, CMBS
Experience building and maintaining client relationships
Strong verbal and written communication skills; team player
Compensation/Benefits
Anticipated base salary: $100,000 - $115,000 (geographic variation may apply). Eligible for annual incentive bonus plan and additional S&P Global benefits.
