About The Job You’re Considering We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance Lead with over 15 years of experience to drive enterprise-wide data governance initiatives. This role will focus on defining and implementing governance frameworks, enabling stewardship, and leading the adoption of Atlan as the central governance platform.

Your Role

Define and implement enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

Lead the adoption and optimization of Atlan for metadata management, data discovery, and access control.

Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and business units to ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance.

Establish and promote best practices for data cataloging, classification, and documentation.

Drive transparency and accountability across data assets through stewardship enablement and training.

Monitor and report on data governance KPIs and compliance metrics.

Support audits and regulatory requirements by ensuring proper data governance controls are in place.

Your Skills and Experience

15+ years of experience in Data Governance, with a strong background in strategy and implementation.

Proven expertise in Atlan or similar data governance platforms.

Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and stewardship models.

Experience working with cross-functional teams in large enterprise environments.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
