Senior Scientist – T‑cell Engager, Discovery Biology, Oncology Thematic Research Center, Seattle, WA. Drive projects from discovery through IND. Identify and validate novel targets and design next‑generation T‑cell engager therapeutics. Key Responsibilities
Identify and validate novel targets for T‑cell engager development. Design, develop, and execute novel in‑vitro and ex‑vivo cell‑based assays/models to evaluate T‑cell engager efficacy and specificity. Apply T‑cell biology knowledge to develop next‑generation T‑cell engagers with improved efficacy and safety profiles. Design and implement critical studies to drive hypothesis‑driven research. Collaborate across multiple projects/roles in a matrixed environment. Present complex concepts to governance and project meetings. Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration and alignment with stakeholders. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant academic and/or industry experience. Master’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant academic and/or industry experience. Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in the Life Sciences with 2+ years of relevant academic and/or industry experience. Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in immunology, immuno‑oncology, tumor immunology, or related field. Knowledge of T‑cell biology and relevant in‑vitro assay systems; experience with transformed tumor cells. Experience with technologies for engineering cell lines and assessing immune cell function (CRISPR, RNAi, Luminex, MSD, IncuCyte, flow cytometry, T‑cell activation/proliferation assays, imaging). Demonstrated hypothesis‑driven, innovative thinking and experimentation. Self‑motivated, project‑management oriented; able to work on multiple projects in a matrix environment. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Experience with antibody drug discovery and target identification/validation is an advantage. Compensation Overview
Seattle – WA: $131,590 – $159,500 base salary plus incentive cash and stock opportunities. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Benefits (summary)
