leading high-tech manufacturer specializing in advanced microwave and power systems

to find a skilled

Contracts Lead/Manager . This is a

high-visibility position

ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of

contract management, pricing strategy, and government compliance . In this role, you’ll serve as the

go‑to authority for all customer contracts —from complex multi‑year agreements with U.S. government agencies to commercial aerospace OEM partnerships. You’ll play a key part in shaping negotiation strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting business growth. What You’ll Do

Lead Contract Negotiations:

Own pricing, terms, and structure for complex agreements, including IDIQ contracts, modifications, and task/delivery orders. Drive Proposal Strategy:

Manage the contracts portion of proposals—ensuring FAR/DFARS alignment, compliant submissions, and timely delivery. Be the Subject Matter Expert:

Provide guidance on government contracting rules, TINA, CAS, and contract types (FFP, CPFF, T&M). Collaborate Cross‑Functionally:

Partner with finance, operations, legal, and business development to align risk, pricing, and execution. Ensure Audit & Compliance Readiness:

Maintain clean documentation and support SOX/internal audit processes. Oversee Contract Administration:

Manage execution, deliverables, milestone tracking, invoicing support, and closeout activities. Engage with Customers:

Build and maintain strong contractual relationships to support long‑term success. Enable Business Growth:

Help structure customer‑friendly contracts that drive new orders and long‑term agreements. What You’ll Bring

7–10+ years of experience negotiating and managing government and commercial contracts (aerospace, defense, or high‑tech preferred). Deep knowledge of

FAR/DFARS , IDIQ structures, cost principles, and pricing strategy. Proven ability to

lead complex negotiations independently . Familiarity with

SOX compliance

and audit readiness. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor’s in Business, Legal Studies, or related field (MBA/JD a plus). ERP or CLM system experience preferred. Eligibility for a U.S. security clearance is a plus. What Success Looks Like
