Principal Embedded Rust Software Engineer – Secret Clearance Location: Reston, VA

Company: Akkodis | Entegee, Inc.

Salary: $60–$110 per hour (DOE).

Compensation: Annual bonus & sign‑on bonus.

Contract‑to‑Full‑time arrangements with a 9‑80 schedule (every other Friday off).

Job type: Full‑time (W2).

Requirements

M.S./B.S. in Computer Science or related 4‑year degree.

Active Secret clearance.

6+ years of embedded software development for real‑time systems.

Experience with Rust, C/C++11, and Python.

Experience with VxWorks, Linux, Green Hills Integrity RTOS.

Experience converting C/C++ code to Rust and developing Rust for embedded systems.

Software design (OO/OOP) and implementation experience.

Exposure to software modeling/UML tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/CAMEO.

Highly Preferred

Device driver/BSP development for RTOS.

Information assurance and/or cryptography.

NSA Type 1 or other SW certification (DO‑178).
