About the Firm This elite boutique investment bank is known for its deep specialization in the technology sector, advising both emerging innovators and established leaders on high-impact strategic transactions. With a lean team structure and a reputation for excellence, the firm consistently leads landmark M&A deals and IPOs in the tech space. Analysts here are exposed to complex, high-profile transactions and work closely with senior bankers from day one.
Position Overview They are seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Analyst II who is committed to building a long-term career in investment banking. As an Analyst II, you will play a critical role in executing live transactions, preparing client deliverables, and supporting senior bankers in strategic advisory work. You’ll be expected to bring strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in the technology sector.
Key Responsibilities
Support execution of M&A transactions, including sell-side and buy-side mandates
Build and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, comps)
Conduct industry and company research to support strategic recommendations
Prepare pitch books, management presentations, and other client materials
Participate in due diligence processes and data room management
Collaborate with senior bankers and clients throughout the deal lifecycle
Mentor and guide junior analysts as needed
Qualifications
1–2 years of investment banking experience at a reputable firm
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling is essential
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Clear communication skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated interest in the technology sector and strategic advisory work
Why Work Here
Unparalleled Deal Exposure:
Analysts are deeply involved in every stage of high-profile transactions, gaining experience that far exceeds what’s typical at larger institutions.
Flat Team Structure:
You’ll work directly with senior bankers and clients, accelerating your learning curve and giving you a front-row seat to strategic decision-making.
Tech-Focused Excellence:
The firm is a recognized leader in advising technology companies, offering a unique opportunity to work on transformative deals in one of the most dynamic sectors.
Long-Term Career Growth:
This is a place for people who are serious about investment banking. The firm invests in its people and promotes from within, offering a clear path for advancement.
