Clinical Research Sub-Investigator (NP or PA)
In this role, you will support clinical trial execution by performing delegated medical procedures, overseeing study drug administration, and ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). You will collaborate closely with Principal Investigators, Study Coordinators, and the Medical Director to ensure high-quality data and patient care throughout the study lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct study activities as delegated by the Principal Investigator
Perform clinical procedures including vital signs, physical exams, phlebotomy, and diagnostic orders
Manage study drug preparation, dispensation, and documentation
Monitor patient responses and adverse events
Prescribe medications and obtain informed consent
Support study feasibility reviews and protocol feedback
Participate in recruitment, monitoring visits, and audits
Qualifications
Physician Assistants (PA-C) with relevant clinical research experience
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with advanced clinical training
Minimum one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
Active RN license in Arizona and National NP Certification
Experience in clinical research and familiarity with GCP, HIPAA, and ICH guidelines
CPR/ACLS certification (GCP and IATA training supported)
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $160,000.00/yr.
