This organization is committed to expanding high‑speed connectivity by building and maintaining reliable fiber‑optic networks across rural and suburban communities. The company focuses on bridging the digital divide through large‑scale infrastructure investments, ensuring smaller towns and underserved areas have access to modern broadband services. Responsibilities
Leverage knowledge of OSP engineering and construction to create and maintain all related infrastructure. Collaborate proactively with internal teams as well as A&E and construction vendors. Manage a team supporting the organization’s long‑term OSP Engineering, GIS, and OSP Project Management needs in alignment with project plans. Oversee the GIS/inventory mapping system to ensure detailed documentation of network infrastructure and topologies. Develop, implement, and maintain OSP Engineering Best Practices to guide design and deployment methodologies aligned with industry standards. Lead new plant installations by accurately and efficiently preparing construction drawings, splicing diagrams, documentation, and related materials for stakeholders. Prepare and present weekly engineering progress reports. Participate in developing network planning and deployment strategies. Support other teams as needed in implementing, troubleshooting, and repairing network connections and customer deployments. Requirements
Positive, team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem‑solving. 7–10+ years of progressive experience in leadership roles within a service provider environment; experience in construction settings preferred. Proven ability to manage internal and external resources effectively. Comfortable interfacing with all levels of management, external partners, community stakeholders, and government officials. In‑depth knowledge of all areas of OSP Engineering with the ability to manage, mentor, and train internal teams. Strong understanding of easements, rights‑of‑way, permitting, and other requirements related to public and private property use and utilities infrastructure. Proficiency with FTTx and PON designs, including both centralized and distributed split and splicing architectures. Working knowledge of OSP construction practices, including aerial, buried, and underground plant construction, and familiarity with NESC and OSHA standards. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision. Self‑motivated, goal‑driven, and highly organized. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. About Theoris
