Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
Experience with the domain area of Generative AI or Large Language Models.
Preferred qualifications
Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
7 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
7 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting).
5 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
5 years of experience in software development or engineering.
Knowledge of building accessibility best practices, or continued interest in developing them, with experience and curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.

You will develop and execute a product strategy for compliance for Cloud AI. You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure AI products and services meet customer compliance needs. You will become an industry expert on current and future global AI compliance trends, shaping regulation direction and helping engineering teams understand practical applications of compliance. Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry through enterprise‑grade solutions and sustainability tools.
Responsibilities
Serve as the area expert on AI compliance and policy, working with internal and external organizations to shape and understand global policy direction.
Create, execute, and support Cloud AI across compliance and safety, including controls, certifications, product features, regional support, expansion, and ongoing regulation.
Partner with Product, Engineering and key stakeholders to execute Cloud AI’s strategy, delivery, and communications across Cloud organizations such as CISO, regulated cloud, and Government Affairs and Public Policy.
Support high‑velocity, short‑term execution within Cloud AI by informing cross‑organizational OKRs and supporting delivery across Cloud AI teams, working closely with counterpart TPgMs, PMs, and Engineering leads.
Serve as a key knowledge‑holder for audits, workshops, and participation across the organization to meet the needs of external auditors and internal compliance teams.
Compensation The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $227,000–$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and individual pay is based on work location and additional factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
