Job Summary:
We are seeking a results‑driven Project Engineer to support our construction management team. This role works directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with project goals for budget, safety, and schedule. If you're organized, proactive, and ready to grow with a faith‑based, team‑driven company—this is your opportunity.
Responsibilities
Upholds and promotes the Thompson Mission, Vision and Values
Maintain and update logs (change order, gravel, concrete)
Create cost estimates and material comparison worksheets
Travel to job sites and support field leadership
Manage project invoicing, documentation, and logs
Perform hands‑on tasks when required to support the team
Assist Superintendent to obtain all required documentation including certificates, lien waivers, DISCLAIMERS, warranties, etc.
Perform other related duties as assigned up to and including all laborer duties
Required Skills and Abilities
Strong communication and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Pro‑Contractor, and Bluebeam
Strong understanding of construction documents
Effective time and task management
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
Valid driver’s license
CPR and First Aid training (provided)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a construction environment
Must be able to crouch, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
