Overview As an Account Director at Broadcom, you will drive revenue and growth for existing Enterprise customers in the Broadcom Software portfolio (VMware, CA Technologies, Symantec). This is a quota‑carrying position located in Plano, TX; ADs are expected to be in the office every day.

Responsibilities

Employ strong interpersonal and communication skills to identify, qualify, and win sales opportunities.

Manage a pipeline of active deals to ensure long‑term book‑of‑business sustainability.

Create and achieve long‑term and short‑term account‑based revenue objectives (e.g., Annual Business Plan, Quarterly Territory Plan).

Develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior level decision makers in assigned accounts.

Effectively communicate Broadcom’s ability to address customers’ Enterprise Software needs and overall IT business objectives.

Demonstrate proficiency in proposal creation, negotiation, and closing skills.

Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

Qualifications

At least 12 years of experience in a customer‑facing B2B role, or equivalent education and experience.

Prior experience meeting or exceeding sales quota.

Strong understanding of a value‑based sales approach.

Significant experience managing a pipeline of active deals.

Prior experience in a startup organization (preferred).

Strong background in B2B software solutions (preferred).

Compensation & Benefits The On Target Earnings (OTE) range is $174,400 – $279,000. OTE includes Sales Incentive Commission. The position is eligible for equity in accordance with equity plan documents.
