Draft and prosecute patent applications related to electrical engineering, software, and related technologies Provide expert analysis of patent portfolios and offer strategic counsel regarding patent prosecution and litigation Engage in communication with the USPTO and other patent offices, managing all aspects of the application process Assist in the preparation of claims, responses, and other legal documents for patent filings Collaborate closely with technical experts and attorneys to develop strategies for IP protection Stay updated on emerging trends and standards in electrical engineering, wireless communication, and software-related technologies Requirements

Proven experience in patent prosecution, with a background in electrical engineering, computer science, or similar technical fields Admission to practice before the USPTO 2-6 years of legal or technical experience in intellectual property law Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment A background in chip design engineering or wireless communications (5G, 6G, 3GPP) is a plus, but not required Education

A degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a closely related technical field Certifications

Registered to practice before the USPTO Skills
