Job Description This position will be fully dedicated to one of our premiere clients, and a successful candidate will be located on the west coast. Direct mentorship from the CFO with a growth pattern to Controller.
You’ll manage PE fund accounting operations, including capital calls, distributions, and financial statement preparation and review.
Calculate waterfalls and management fees and ensure accurate expense allocations across approximately 20 entities.
Provide financial analysis and data to support the investment team.
Assist the CFO with investor relations, advisor requests, annual audit and tax processes.
You maintain the Management Company’s books and records, and manage portfolio company expenses, invoices plus track all due-to/from balances.
Liaise with PEO service provider for payroll and 401(k) processing.

Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is preferred.
You bring over 6 years of experience in financial services, with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private equity fund structures.
You demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
You communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders (written and verbal).
You have advanced skills in Excel, QuickBooks, and Bill.com, plus strong analytical thinking and financial accuracy.
