Part-time Faculty Positions
DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part-Time Faculty to teach courses across all 10 colleges and schools. Individuals may submit their credentials for any posting they are qualified for. Postings are organized by college/school and department. Screening is ongoing, depending on curricular needs and funding. Qualified candidates will be contacted if they reach the finalist stage for specific courses. The pool remains active until the posting's closing date; resubmission is necessary to remain in the pool beyond that date. All candidates will be notified via email when postings close.

Responsibilities:
DePaul's Jarvis College of Computing & Digital Media (CDM) is located in Chicago's Loop. CDM values diversity and seeks to recruit a diverse faculty. Part-time positions are available throughout the year, including summer sessions. Course schedules vary quarterly, and the college will coordinate with selected individuals to determine schedules. Courses are not guaranteed, but notice will be provided. Candidates with relevant expertise will be contacted for interviews.
The School of Cinematic Arts (SCA) offers undergraduate and graduate programs in Film and Television, Animation, Creative Producing, Documentary, and Screenwriting at the Loop campus and DePaul Cinespace Studios. More information is available at

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in the discipline, or 18 semester/27 quarter hours of graduate work, or an undergraduate degree with at least five years of relevant professional experience (exceptions may be approved).
Experience in game audio is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience working in diverse learning environments.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
The Sound Concentration in the BFA and MS in Film and Television offers comprehensive study in film production and post-production sound, alongside a broad cinema education including cinematography, editing, and workflows.
Considerations:
Rates may vary for courses with unique credit hours, labs, clinical/practicum components, coaching, administrative tasks, or enrollment fluctuations.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range is estimated between $4,700 and $6,000 per course, based on qualifications and experience. DePaul offers various benefits for qualified part-time employees. More details are available at

Academic Calendar:
DePaul operates on a quarter system (except the College of Law, which uses a semester system). Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters are 11 weeks; Summer sessions are typically 5 weeks. The College of Law's semesters are 16 weeks, with a 7-week summer session.
Salary:
The anticipated rate is between $4,700 and $6,000 per course, depending on qualifications and experience.
