This role is pivotal in integrating cloud technologies with DevOps practices, requiring a blend of technical skills and operational acumen. Key Responsibilities
Build and deploy helm charts to Kubernetes clusters
Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and helm charts
Troubleshoot failed deployments and pipelines
Containerize custom applications
Design high-level architecture for cloud-native networks and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of tech stacks
Work Environment
Location: Colorado Springs, CO – Hybrid or On-site
Travel Requirements: Minimal

Qualifications Required
Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. government Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI SI/TK, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain
Education: B.S. in Computer Science. Other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience or certification
Experience building helm charts and Kubernetes API objects
Experience writing Dockerfiles and containerizing applications
Experience with GNU/Linux commands, shell navigation, and Git version control
Ability to research and solve complex technical problems independently
Desired
Competence in building pipelines, preferably with GitLab
Experience delivering a cloud native application
Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services, e.g., EKS, EC2, IAM, S3
Competence in secret management technologies like Helm Secrets, Sealed Secrets, or SOPS
Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC flows, or KeyCloak
Experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform
Experience deploying to air gapped networks
Experience with Cert Manager, OpenSSL, and Public Key Infrastructure
Basic Compensation $$115,600 - $173,300 (For Colorado Springs Only)
Additional Compensation KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
