About the role The cultural zeitgeist is swayed by actors, musicians, and artisans creating the movies, music, and television series audiences are binge‑watching on every screen. To tap into the power of pop culture, Sinclair is creating a new content hub to bridge local communities to their favorite stars. Through engaging interviews, exclusive behind‑the‑scenes vignettes, and highly sharable digital video franchises, we will be producing and distributing content that goes beyond the ordinary that breaks through the clutter digital landscape. The core of our mission is to create best‑in‑class content across all platforms in all mediums, captivating pop culture fans in new and exciting ways.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team to prep and gather necessary creative materials for projects

Work independently to assemble and edit assigned content through all stages of post

Deliver high‑quality content using Premiere Pro, After Effects, and motion graphics

Make informed editorial strategy decisions for maximum audience growth

Understand operating a camera, blocking, lighting, and capturing sound

Advise on workflows to ensure production efficiency and best practices

Keep up with latest trends, technologies, and platform changes to drive innovation

Requirements

5+ years hands‑on experience in all aspects of video production

The ability to capture well composed videos on a phone

Experience shooting content at live‑events, premieres, and junkets

Demonstrated experience in motion graphics, thumbnail design, and social media

Impeccable spelling and grammar, and a keen eye for detail

Highly motivated and extremely organized with a uniquely creative mind

Flexibility to travel and work nights and/or weekends, as projects call for

Ability to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 35lbs of gear
