PACS Applications Analyst III - IT Clinic Hoag Health System is looking for a dedicated PACS Applications Analyst III to configure, test, implement, and support the clinical, financial, or administrative systems that deliver patient care and support functions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Configure, test, implement, and support clinical, financial, or administrative healthcare information systems.

Ensure data integrity, safety, and availability of all data and applications.

Plan, develop, and manage projects, including system development and application administration.

Evaluate problem tickets and service requests, customer requests for system changes, data retrieval requests, and system performance problems.

Independently resolve complex, multi-function application errors and other system issues.

Maintain system dictionaries, profiles, tables, and other configuration points.

Identify system enhancement requests and implement them.

Coordinate with vendors and test system configurations, customizations, and new releases before production.

Assist end-users with system reports design and testing, and communicate changes.

Lead or facilitate system design, validation, or remediation sessions.

Work with integration teams to resolve complex data integration issues.

Lead large projects and serve as subject matter expert on complex, cross‑functional projects.

Provide guidance to level I and II analysts.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum five years experience with the application, module, or equivalent system.

Advanced knowledge of the assigned applications in at least one functional area.

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience in a related field (preferred).

Experience working in a Health Care Application Services department, preferably within an acute care environment (preferred).

Experience with PACS required.

License Required Current CA driver’s license for local travel.

License Preferred ARRT.

Certifications Required

All relevant application certifications and/or badges within area of support.

Certifications Preferred

PACS Certification.

Other certification with the application(s) within their area of responsibility and support.
