Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Architecture team and drive the definition and delivery of solution architectures for our Data & Generative AI platforms. This role will be instrumental in guiding our adoption of target state Data & AI technologies, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise strategy. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in modern data and AI architectures with strong leadership and collaboration skills to influence at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities Define, evolve, and govern the enterprise architecture for Data & GenAI platforms, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and target state vision.
Lead the solution architecture design for initiatives that leverage data, AI/ML, and Generative AI capabilities.
Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable, secure, and performant data and AI solutions.
Develop and maintain architecture standards, patterns, and reference models for Data & AI solutions.
Ensure compliance, security, and governance are integrated into all architecture decisions.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies (e.g., large language models, MLOps/LLMOps platforms, vector databases, knowledge graphs) for adoption.
Provide architecture oversight and guidance for major platform initiatives and programs.
Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership, driving thought leadership on Data & GenAI adoption.
Mentor architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with a strong focus on data and AI platforms.
Proven expertise in modern data architectures: data lakes, data warehouses, streaming platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and data mesh concepts.
Hands‑on experience with AI/ML and Generative AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), embeddings, retrieval‑augmented generation, and prompt orchestration frameworks.
Strong background in cloud architecture on at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with knowledge of cloud‑native data and AI services.
Deep understanding of data management practices, including governance, metadata, security, privacy, and lineage.
Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices and principles of responsible AI.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise‑scale, data‑driven solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Enterprise architecture certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent.
Experience working in large-scale, complex enterprise environments.
Practical experience with LLM integration, fine‑tuning, and scaling in production.
Familiarity with open-source AI/ML ecosystems (e.g., LangChain, Hugging Face, MLflow, Ray).
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related discipline.
