Assistant Director Compliance and Enrollment Management
The Assistant Director of Compliance and Enrollment Management promotes education, monitoring and tracking of NCAA compliance and assists in enrollment services. The position plays an integral role in promoting a culture of integrity at Northeastern through education, communication and positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Compliance Monitoring & Rules Education: Review required documentation for compliance with NCAA rules. Types of documentation reviewed include playing and practice seasons, recruiting, awards & benefits, financial aid, eligibility, squad lists, amateurism. Develop and implement a comprehensive rules education program for student‑athletes, coaches, staff, alumni, and external constituents.
Assist Associate AD in conducting beginning and end of the year team meetings as well as coaches on‑boarding meetings. Process waivers and violations as assigned. Assist with staff rules interpretation requests and review of proposed and adopted NCAA legislation.
Compliance Record Maintenance: Regularly update the data in Compliance Assistant and ARMS. Maintain and submit forms required by the institution, conference and NCAA including squad lists, medical/personal hardship petitions, NCAA Transfer Portal, NIL, academic year rollover in LSDBi and ARMS, assist with official visit approval process, collect end of the year participation reports, distribute Initial Eligibility Progress reports, conduct compliance audits, conduct recruiting exams and monitor continuing eligibility certification. Assist with NLI program, collection of NCAA Academic Performance Program information and annual update of department compliance handbook.
Enrollment Services: Assist the Associate AD with processes as needed. Annually review and revise the department student‑athlete handbook. Act as secondary liaison with institutional constituents including Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar.
General Administration: Contribute to the overall advancement of the athletics department by promoting an atmosphere of compliance and maintaining institutional control. Assist the Associate AD for Compliance/ES with continued development and implementation of a successful compliance program. Ensure the integrity of University and departmental policies and procedures with the timely submission of accurate expense reconciliation and time off from work requests. Assist in updating and/or revising sections of the Compliance policy and procedure materials as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of NCAA rules interpretations and presenting education sessions, ARMS recruiting software system, Banner, Compliance Assistant, NCAA, LSDBi and RSRO systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare well written correspondence, letters. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and Publisher. Knowledge and skills typically acquired through a bachelor's degree (Master's degree or J.D. preferred), and a minimum of 2 years of full‑time, grad or intern experience working with NCAA compliance (at an NCAA member institution, conference office, or the NCAA national office). Position requires occasional travel; nights and weekends required as necessary.
