As a Client Reporting & Analytics Analyst, you will play an integral role within the Fixed Income Client Reporting & Portfolio Analytics team based in Chicago, supporting the Non‑Investment Grade and Insurance Fixed Income portfolio management teams. This role is responsible for compiling portfolio and market‑specific materials, including institutional client reporting, portfolio and product analytics, and bespoke institutional client exhibits.
Our team works in close collaboration with Portfolio Management, Client Service, IT, Marketing, RFP and Legal teams. You will be involved in a variety of strategic and tactical projects across the asset class spectrum, delivering best‑in‑class client reporting and analytics.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s Non‑Investment Grade fixed‑income strategies to create in‑depth and comprehensive client reports and client analytics.
Produce monthly client reports and data for institutional and sub‑advised clients.
Provide portfolio analysis and reporting for High Yield and Senior Loan portfolios.
Serve as a go‑to expert for data inquiries on portfolio exposures and summary statistics and deliver accurate and timely responses.
Participate in firm‑wide initiatives aimed at enhancing client service‑related strategies.
Maintain confidentiality with client information and data.
Stay updated with market trends and developments in fixed‑income markets.
Key Requirements / Qualifications
1‑3 years of experience in asset management or a related industry, preferably with client reporting in fixed‑income or portfolio analytics.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, science or math (preferred).
Progress toward advanced certifications such as CFA, FRM or CAIA is a plus.
Knowledge of financial markets, especially fixed‑income markets and interest in investment strategies and security analysis.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Experience working with Blackrock Aladdin, Clearwater and Bloomberg is preferred.
Experience in developing and constructing formula‑driven spreadsheets, pivot tables and macros.
Analytical skills and comfortable working with and interpreting statistics and fixed‑income portfolio and market data.
Excellent attention to detail and accountability; strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts, incorporate edits based on instructions from investment, sales and legal teams.
Highly motivated team‑player with a desire to work on a wide range of projects, collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit.
Compensation Details The salary range for this role is $65,000‑$75,000. This range is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. The range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
