Regional Marketing Specialist
Fox Rothschild invites qualified professionals to join its national marketing and business development team as a Regional Marketing Specialist (RMS). The RMS collaborates with attorneys and leadership in assigned geographies to expand awareness of specific offices, engage local lawyers with the business community, and connect those lawyers to firm resources.
Essential Functions
Infuse strategic thinking into marketing plans and office budgets in partnership with the Office Administrator and Office Managing Partner.
Work closely with attorneys to connect them within the local business community and serve as the liaison to Business Development Managers and practice groups firmwide.
Act in concert with the Assistant Director of Media Relations to identify and leverage the best local media outlets, research business community norms, and collaborate with the Marketing events team on local activities.
Collaborate with Communications, Events, Marketing Technology, and Graphics teams to coordinate communications, events, and technology projects, ensuring superb internal and external client service, efficient resource allocation, and firm branding best practices.
Provide strategic advice on specific office integration to the firm and to the Business Development & Marketing Department.
Serve as the primary local resource and guide for Business Development & Marketing activities for assigned offices while integrating the office with functional experts in the department.
Liaise with Knowledge Management to procure and analyze competitive intelligence, industry research, and corporate information, assisting attorneys in digesting and synthesizing information.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field (required).
Experience
Minimum of three years of experience, preferably in the legal industry or professional services marketing.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Seasoned marketing and business development professional with experience in a professional services industry.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to establish credibility quickly.
Demonstrated ability to work with individuals at all levels across the firm.
Ability to develop healthy, productive professional relationships across geographies.
Strategic and analytical thinking with effective communication with firm leadership.
Strong writing and critical thinking skills with a client‑service orientation.
Work Environment & Physical Demands This role operates in a clerical office setting, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The job requires sedentary work, occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, and frequent walking and standing.
