We are offering a dynamic opportunity for a Physical Therapist to join our practice in Annapolis, MD. Ideally, the incoming Physical Therapist has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with orthopedic experience. Additionally, the PT should be compassionate, patient-centered, and have a passion for helping others improve their physical well-being.

Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to different patient needs and conditions are also key qualities. Finally, a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices is essential. We offer an excellent workplace culture with One-on-one treatments and built in admin time for notes, along with weekly team meetings for comprehensive patient care.

Job Responsibilities

Perform new-patient and follow up evaluations/exams (primarily adults & seniors for orthopedic conditions)

Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations- Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity

Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date- Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises

Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress and intervention effectiveness, to include exercise, manual work, Class IV laser, shockwave therapies and decompression when appropriate

Ensure smooth and timely patient flow in accordance with scheduled appointment times

Promptly and thoroughly document and maintain clinical and administrative records, including but not limited to, daily notes, weekly reports, initial evaluations, treatment progress and responses, and discharge summaries

Adhere to the company's guideline for billing of clinical and non-clinical services

Attend weekly team meetings and provider meetings for comprehensive care

Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited school

PT license in MD

Outpatient and rehab clinic experience preferred

Schedule

Full time (Monday- Friday)

Salary (range)

$90k-$115k annually plus bonus compensation
