Faculty are active in application areas of neuroscience, geology, biostatistics, psychometrics, epidemiology, bioengineering, and finance. The Titan Supercomputing Center provides high-performance computing to support faculty research. The statistics undergraduate program includes courses in probability theory, stochastic processes, statistical modeling, and statistical learning. The M.S. in Statistics program serves the growing demand for professionals with knowledge and training in data science and quantitative analysis. The Assistant Professor (Academic Year) classification salary range is $6,221 to $13,224 monthly (12 monthly payments per academic year). The anticipated hiring range is $7,206 to $7,350 per month.
