Los Angeles, CA (LACMA campus)
Salary:
$135,000 - $140,000 / year + bonus and benefits.
Job Summary Oversee all culinary and operational aspects across four distinct concepts at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA): a Fine Dining Restaurant, a Wine Bar, a Café, and Catering & Events. Lead a diverse team, drive financial performance, and collaborate with museum leadership to enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all venues across the LACMA campus, ensuring alignment with Restaurant Associates’ brand standards.
Lead and develop a team of General Managers, Chefs, and service leaders.
Drive financial performance, maintaining profitability through strategic planning and cost control.
Collaborate with museum leadership to create dining experiences that complement exhibitions and events.
Oversee catering operations for VIP receptions and public programs.
Curate elevated menus and beverage programs across the Wine Bar and Restaurant.
Manage Café operations with full barista program and grab‑and‑go offerings.
Champion sustainability, wellness, and inclusion across all operations.
Uphold a culture of excellence, hospitality, and mentorship across all front and back‑of‑house teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field.
7+ years of multi‑unit management experience in fine dining, café, and/or catering operations.
Proven success overseeing complex, high‑volume food and beverage programs with multiple concepts.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi‑million‑dollar P&L statements.
Passion for art, culture, and hospitality.
