Senior Salesforce Developer (HealthCare Domain)
The Smart TechLink Solutions Inc (client VIRTUSA) is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to build and customize Health Cloud solutions, integrate with AWS services and modernize contact center capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and Flows.
Build Experience Cloud portals and customize solutions for patient, provider, and partner experiences.
Develop Agentforce-powered automations and Data Cloud integrations for unified data access and intelligent workflows.
Configure Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud to meet evolving business requirements.
Support contact center modernization by integrating Salesforce with AWS Connect and Service Cloud Voice.
Develop and maintain API‑driven integrations between Salesforce and AWS services (S3, Redshift, Lambda, SQL DBs) and other enterprise systems.
Implement secure EHR interoperability using FHIR APIs, HL7 messaging, and healthcare data exchange patterns.
Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Partner with architects, business analysts, and UX designers to translate requirements into Salesforce solutions.
Contribute to generative and agentic AI solutions using Salesforce Agentforce and AWS‑native services.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (additional experience may substitute for degree)
6+ years of Salesforce development experience, preferably in healthcare or enterprise environments
Hands‑on development and configuration experience with Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Web Components, Flow automation, Agentforce and Data Cloud integrations
Proven expertise in Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
Experience building Experience Cloud portals for patients, providers, or partner ecosystems
Proficiency in designing API‑based integrations with AWS services and external systems
Exposure to generative and agentic AI capabilities in Salesforce solutions
Salesforce certifications required (Platform Developer I/II, Experience Cloud Consultant, Health Cloud Specialist)
Experience with SF DevOps tools (Flosum, Copado, SFDX/Jenkins)
Knowledge of EHR integration patterns (FHIR, HL7, Epic, Cerner) and secure healthcare data exchange
Compliance with HIPAA regulations and platform governance policies
Location Remote (preferred locations Reston VA, Washington DC, Maryland area)
