The Advanced Systems Operating Unit within the Advanced Mission Capabilities Business Unit is seeking a motivated

Principal Contract Administrator

to support a newly awarded major Development program in the Airborne Multifunction Sensors (AMS) Division. The successful candidate will work closely in partnership with Program Management, Business Management, Global Supply Chain, and other functional teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and customer contact activities to ensure proper acquisition and fulfillment in line with company policies and customer specifications.

Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters to maintain company compliance with contract requirements.

Review terms and conditions to address financial, delivery, warranty, IP, termination, indemnification, and other risk areas and recommend mitigation strategies.

Prepare and manage written communications with internal and external customers for assigned contractual matters.

Ensure timely delivery of contractual deliverables and submission of invoices, proposals, and data calls.

Maintain contract changes, historical information, and fulfillment of contract requirements.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, OR Master’s/JD with 3 years, or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree (contracts, subcontracts, finance, or related functions).

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe.

Ability to travel occasionally.

Current, active DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and experience with various contract types.

Current, active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Experience in aerospace and/or defense industry.

Demonstrated collaboration across functional teams.

Experience with USG and Prime customers.

Experience working on restricted programs with moderate oversight.

Primary Level Salary Range:

$87,000.00 – $130,600.00

Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in VP or Director positions may qualify for Long Term Incentives. Northrop Grumman also offers health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, paid holidays, paid time off for vacation and personal business.
