Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

The Senior Quality Engineer role focuses on leading quality assurance initiatives across manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. The position involves driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance product reliability and operational efficiency. My client is a global leader in high‑reliability components used across highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, and industrial technology, supporting complex systems where performance, durability, and precision are critical.

Responsibilities

Lead quality assurance activities across production and engineering to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.

Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage internal and external audits, including documentation and follow‑up actions.

Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Support new product development by integrating quality requirements into design and manufacturing processes.

Maintain and improve quality systems in accordance with ISO and AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, with experience in audit processes.

Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and control plans.

Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Experience with ERP systems and quality management software is advantageous.
