Sr. Electrical Engineer, Sustaining Hach (a Veralto company)

Loveland, Colorado – on site 4 days a week.

Overview Reporting to the R&D Electrical Engineering Manager, you will design, redesign, test, and model electrical hardware for existing water quality instruments. You will sustain products in production, improving reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze electrical hardware circuits to meet functional requirements and quantitative specifications.

Design electrical tests to verify performance and demonstrate insensitivity to parameters (component, manufacturing variation, temperature, humidity, aging, corrosion, ESD, EMS, vibration, shock).

Complete requirements for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.

Provide subject matter expertise in core electrical engineering disciplines.

Track developments in the electrical engineering community and incorporate them where appropriate.

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of directly relevant experience, or MS in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of directly relevant experience.

Knowledge of commonly used circuits, analysis and measurement tools.

Knowledge of ISO quality systems (Design Controls/Product Realization) and related requirements.

Experience in circuit design, modeling, performance analysis (SPICE), and tradeoff analysis.

Experience in PCB layout for AC signal integrity, DC signal integrity, and EMC.

Compensation US ONLY: $115,000 – $145,000 per year. Eligible for bonus pay.
