Maximo Application Developer (Contract to Hire)
Kforce is hiring a Maximo Application Developer for a contract‑to‑hire role to work on‑site in Wall, NJ 2‑3 days a week.
Responsibilities
Maximo Application Developer will design, develop, and support application solutions using the IBM Maximo platform and related technologies
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise applications such as GIS, Oracle ERP, SAP C4C, and Clevest using Web Services, REST/SOAP, and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF)
Configure and enhance Maximo applications, including database configurations, workflows, automation scripts, MBO customizations, and BIRT reports
As a Maximo Application Developer, you will provide production support, troubleshoot incidents, and resolve issues related to applications, interfaces, workflows, and reporting
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design and troubleshooting guides
Contribute to continuous improvement, mentoring, and adoption of best practices across the development team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field-or equivalent work experience
6+ years of hands‑on experience implementing and configuring IBM Maximo (7x) EAM and related solutions
Experience integrating Maximo with other enterprise applications using JSON/REST services
Experience developing custom BIRT reports and designing workflow processes in Maximo
Proven experience providing guidance and best practices for configuring IBM Maximo EAM cloud systems
Strong knowledge of Maximo Application Designer, Workflow Designer, schemas, relationships, and MIF
Proficiency in automation scripts (Python, Jython, JavaScript)
Skilled in IBM DB2, SQL, XML, and HTML
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a structured, organized work style
Preferred Qualifications
IBM Certified Advanced Deployment Professional – Maximo Asset Management v7.6
Experience with Maximo Scheduler and Work Centers
Experience with Maximo v7.6.x, Red Hat OpenShift 4.8.x, and MAS 8.x infrastructure
Experience with DevOps, cloud‑native technologies, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Familiarity with Informatica iPaaS, ETL, and RabbitMQ frameworks
Knowledge of SSO, SAML, OAUTH authentication methods
Compensation The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
