Job Description And Duties THIS IS A BILINGUAL - SPANISH POSITION; MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BILINGUAL - SPANISH FLUENCY EXAMINATION. THIS POSITION MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. THE AMOUNT OF TELEWORK IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DEPARTMENT AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE. Under the close supervision of the Senior Accounting Officer (Supervisor), the Accounting Technician performs routine semi-professional program accounting work related to the Claims processing and Benefit Payment Control activities that include fraud prevention and detection, establishment of overpayments, employer and claimant assistance and maintenance of employer and claimant accounts to ensure the integrity of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Trust Fund.
