Children’s Nebraska, with the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, is currently recruiting a division chief or faculty for Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. We are seeking individuals who are fellowship trained in Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to provide clinical expertise for this growing department that collaborates closely with a team of several subspecialists. The candidate will have clinical and academic experience within a complex, pediatric tertiary care medical center. Successful candidates will hold a faculty appointment at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Candidates will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. We seek individuals with strong emotional and social intelligence and a demonstrated ability to connect with others in a meaningful way at all levels of the organization and university.
Research interests are strongly desired and supported. Children’s growth and transformation creates opportunity for innovation, education, and research. The Child Health Research Institute, a partnership with Children’s Nebraska and UNMC, assists investigators with start-up funding and infrastructure for clinical, basic science or translational research.
