Job Summary As a Sr. Java Engineer, you will formulate and define specifications for complex operating software applications, working as part of a team that influences a larger organization.
Responsibilities
Produce stable and high‑performing applications.
Work in Agile methodologies and contribute throughout the entire lifecycle of a user story, with emphasis on coding, unit testing, and deployment pipeline automation.
Research and learn new technologies and processes as part of continuous improvement.
Foster a high‑performing, self‑organized team culture.
Clearly communicate potential and real issues to the team and propose solutions.
Mentor junior software engineers.
Champion Claritev’s core culture: Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork, and Service Excellence (ACTS).
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
Requirements
8+ years of progressive software experience in relevant technologies.
4+ years of experience designing complex service‑oriented systems.
Computer‑related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and Service APIs.
Desirable: NodeJS/Express, NoSQL, Kafka event streaming.
Compensation The salary range for this position is $120 - $130K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience, and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401(k) and bonus opportunity.
