Electrical / Electronic Hardware PVT Engineer

Responsibilities
Review incoming warranty claims data daily, bin claims, contact dealerships, and participate in customer callback calls to understand feedback.
Review returned parts for root‑cause analyses and develop interim containment and permanent corrective actions.
Support assembly plant with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analyses, and other quality‑related tasks.
Lead engineering commodity changes for future minor product launches and lead cost‑reduction actions in current production vehicles.
Support Variability Reduction Team (VRT) for specific sub‑systems and work closely with supplier partners to address quality concerns.
Lead engineering trials and implement running changes for the sub‑system, issue engineering alerts, and pursue authorization of engineering concerns for product changes to support quality objectives.
Engage technical experts and functional team members to develop corrective actions and improve product quality.
Maintain sub‑system or Vehicle Functional Group (VFG) level quality documents (SAQ, Top 20 concerns).
Make presentations to upper management (weekly VRT report out, Vehicle Quality Reviews, Engineering Manager reviews).
Qualifications
A combination of Electrical Engineering and Body Interior Engineering. Experience working with both body interior and electrical systems from a systems engineering standpoint.
2–5 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
