This position is responsible for leading complex utility infrastructure projects from initiation through closeout, with a strong emphasis on high-voltage substation and transmission work. The role requires technical expertise, hands-on project leadership, and a strong understanding of EPC project delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring 3–5 years of direct experience in substation and transmission, combined with proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality. This individual will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary teams through all project phases, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective completion of substation and transmission projects.

Develop and manage project execution plans, risk assessments, schedules, and budgets.

Oversee engineering, procurement, and construction coordination to ensure technical compliance and quality control.

Prepare and review bids and proposals, contributing to commercial strategy and competitive positioning.

Track financial performance, approve expenditures, and support accurate forecasting and reporting.

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors; foster strong working relationships to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Support digital transformation initiatives and improve documentation, communication, and reporting processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred) or Construction Management.

Minimum of 5 years of industry experience, including 3–5 years of direct, hands-on experience in substation and transmission.

Strong understanding of utility infrastructure, power delivery systems, and high-voltage construction practices.

Experience managing EPC or large-scale utility projects preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools such as ViewPoint, Primavera, or MS Project a plus.

Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.

PMP certification or PE license (or FE/EIT) preferred.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (10–20% domestic/international).
