Healthcare Design Architect - Join Imagine Unlimited
Job Overview Imagine Unlimited LLC is seeking a licensed Healthcare Design Architect to lead projects from client briefing through final construction. This role requires a self‑starter who thrives in collaboration with our preconstruction and construction teams. You will manage client relationships, prepare detailed drawings and specifications, and ensure projects meet functional, creative, and sustainable goals. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, a problem‑solving mindset, and a passion for healthcare design innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Research, program, plan, and administer healthcare building projects, ensuring compliance with codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
Develop conceptual plans, renderings, and detailed construction documents.
Coordinate and integrate engineering elements into cohesive designs for client review and approval.
Produce high‑quality design work using AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
Work alongside project managers, supervising and checking design staff activities through all project phases.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales, Head of Operations, and multi‑discipline design teams.
Lead client meetings and presentations, ensuring strong communication and alignment with project goals.
Research and specify building materials, products, and systems.
Ensure designs balance function, aesthetics, sustainability, and compliance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Licensing: Active Architect License in the State of Texas or required reciprocity state.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of healthcare architectural experience.
Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, construction methods, and building systems.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to provide elegant, efficient, and innovative design solutions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
Collaborative leadership style with experience working across multi‑discipline teams.
Comfortable with ambiguity, fast‑paced environments, and expanding skills beyond comfort zones.
