Systems Architecture Engineer, Associate, Experienced or Lead Level
The Boeing Company is hiring a Systems Engineer (Associate/Experienced/Lead levels) at Layton (Hill AFB), Utah. This role supports the design, development, and modification of company products for ICBM depot equipment.
Position Responsibilities
Analyze problems of assigned end items to support the design, development, and modification of company products using knowledge of engineering disciplines (ME, EE, etc.) specifically related to ICBM depot equipment.
Perform or review engineering analyses (e.g., mechanical, electrical, avionics, design, circuit, systems, stress, structural, durability).
Derive and allocate requirements (e.g., system, sub‑system, software) and show traceability throughout the product lifecycle using both historical data and modern tools.
Determine functional decomposition based on current design solutions.
Develop trade studies and trade spaces for technical solutions with quantifiable scoring criteria and justifications.
Develop interface control drawings and electrical interface diagrams based on current hardware and incomplete documentation.
Develop test procedures, plans, and artifacts.
Develop contract deliverables in accordance with statement of work.
Provide peer review and expertise on technical deliverables.
Develop model‑based systems engineering diagrams and content.
Develop solution architectures (functional, logical, physical) and provide traceability between architecture and requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
Associate, Level 2: 2 or more years of related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Experienced, Level 3: 5 or more years of related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Lead, Level 4: 9 or more years of related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous ICBM experience with test equipment and repair depot.
Previous experience with electronic test equipment (DMM, oscilloscopes, VNAs).
Previous experience troubleshooting, repairing, or integrating automated test equipment.
Previous experience working in an integrated team involving USAF, Civilian DOD, and other contractors.
MBSE certifications or MBSE practical experience.
Systems engineering certifications (INCOSE ASEP, CSEP, etc.).
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
