Business Function
Group Finance aims to deliver world‑class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analysis to help the bank in making sound business decisions including product development, customer profitability and capital management. We also provide business planning, forecasting, tax and accounting advisory services.
The bank is also a certified Accredited Training Organisation (ATO) for Singapore Qualification Programme by Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.
Responsibilities
Partner with Regional CBG units/stakeholders to review monthly performance, investigate variances and deep dive to provide insights to business
Ensure controls are in place to monitor spends and drive transparency/accountability for Regional CBG and Platform costs
Manage flash/forecast/budget process for Regional CBG units and Platforms
Participate in process reviews/optimization and systems automation projects
Operational support such as accrual process, manual journal posting, cost center administration
Partner with Regional CBG units to set and review cost allocations
Own regional dashboards for cost allocations (design & maintenance)
Build and maintain database to assist in tracking & monitoring of scorecard KPI
Work with SUC teams to load budget and ensure actuals are tracking close to budget/estimate
Own and accountable for timeliness and data accuracy in providing various regional reporting data sets and reports to stakeholders
Manage overall strategic cost management (SCM) across CBG, including tracking, reporting and preparing CEO steerco materials
Provide adhoc support as required
Requirements
At least 10 years of experience in Business Finance or management accounting/expense management roles
Strong analytical skills, control awareness and critical thinking
Well versed in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
Working knowledge of Hyperion, Celerity (SQL), PSGL, Tableau
Independent, self‑starter and able to thrive in a fast paced environment
Highly driven to achieve excellence
Able to balance big picture and details
Degree in Accountancy or a Finance related discipline a plus
Soft skills preferred
Excellent in senior stakeholder management
Highly collaborative
Articulate, good communication and presentation skills
Flexible and able to multi‑task
