About the role:

The main purpose of the role of the Maintenance Planner is to ensure the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of Asset Care activities to maximise equipment reliability, minimise downtime, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement initiatives – all undertaken within a lean manufacturing context (Carlsberg Excellence).

Role Responsibilities:

Lead stakeholder communication and coordination of maintenance plans across cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment.

Manage third-party service teams and contractors, ensuring cost, quality, and performance standards are consistently met.

Develop and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules, integrating predictive and preventative activities.

Maintain accurate CMMS data and generate timely maintenance reports, including KPIs and performance dashboards.

Optimise spare parts inventory and availability to support planned jobs and minimise downtime.

Monitor and manage maintenance costs, backlog, and resource utilisation to meet budget and reliability targets.

Ensure work orders are accurately scoped, issued, and closed out with detailed feedback and compliance to EHS standards.

Champion Lean and TPM methodologies, driving continuous improvement and supporting Carlsberg Excellence initiatives.

Experience and Key Attributes:

Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Maintenance Engineering (or equivalent vocational experience)

3–5 years’ experience in maintenance planning within manufacturing or process-driven industries.

Hands‑on engineering background with practical knowledge of equipment and process requirements.

Proven experience with CMMS systems (e.g., SAP), budget management, and contractor coordination.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and TPM frameworks, including project and shutdown management.

Knowledge of regulatory standards in safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills across production, operations, and engineering teams.

Fluent in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
