Executive Business Partner

to the

Corporate Vice President (CVP)

of

Microsoft AI . In this highly visible role, you’ll work directly with the CVP and their leadership team, serving as an administrative partner and operational leader. This is far more than traditional executive support—you’ll drive business rhythms, lead special projects, and help shape the operational backbone of a rapidly growing, high-impact organization. Your ability to organize, optimize, and elevate both the executive office and the broader team will be essential to our mission of building world-changing AI products.

Responsibilities

Strategic Executive Support:

Provide high-level support to the CVP, including complex calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics. Anticipate needs and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts to maximize executive productivity.

Operational Project Leadership:

Lead and execute operational initiatives such as space planning, onboarding/offboarding, event management, and team growth projects. Develop project plans, set milestones, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.

Business Rhythm & Communications:

Drive the annual rhythm of business (ROB) by managing fiscal calendars, executive meetings, and key communications. Prepare executive briefings, synthesize information, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Team Enablement & Culture:

Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment. Support onboarding, facilitate team communications, and champion culture and engagement initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, vendors, and cross-functional teams. Represent the executive office with professionalism and executive maturity.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness across administrative and operational functions.

Qualifications Required qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science) AND 3+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.

7+ years of executive administration or business operations experience supporting CVP-level leaders with organizations of 50+ employees with a focus on scheduling, travel management, and administration.

2+ years of experience working in AI labs or similar fast-paced high-tech environments.

Experience delivering at least 3 operational projects/programs (e.g., space planning, onboarding, event management) on time and within budget.

Willingness to work extended hours during critical business periods to ensure timely delivery of key outcomes.

Additional qualifications

Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, OneDrive) or similar productivity suite.

Experience using collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Slack, Teams, SharePoint, Asana, or similar).

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft executive-level communications and synthesize complex information.

Demonstrated executive maturity, discretion, and professionalism in high-pressure, high-visibility environments.

Demonstrated organizational skills with a track record of anticipating needs and proactively solving problems.

Demonstrated experience as a team lead, overseeing and coordinating a team of other administrators.

Ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.

Business Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
