Title: HR Administrator (Parental Leave Coverage)
Location: Manufacturing Center (Harrodsburg, KY)
Department: Operations
Hours: Part-time Contract (20 hours per week, approximately six months)
Compensation: DOE
The Opportunity: Nesco is seeking an HR Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our People Team during a parental leave coverage period. This position plays a key role in ensuring day-to-day HR operations at our Manufacturing Center run smoothly. Reporting to the HR Generalist and supporting the Manufacturing Plant Director, you'll handle a variety of HR coordination tasks, from maintaining accurate records and scheduling trainings to assisting with communication between the team and staffing vendors. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and detail oriented. You enjoy supporting others, managing multiple moving parts, and keeping things running behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
Handle general HR inquiries and route team members to the appropriate resources
Assist with documentation and scheduling
Partner with temp-to-hire staffing agencies to ensure shift coverage and labor forecasting
Track and schedule temporary staff shifts and manage agency communications
Support plant leadership to ensure OSHA compliance
Track and schedule required safety and compliance trainings
Support tracking and distribution of team member records
Qualifications
Comfortable managing confidential information with discretion
Tech-savvy and organized; experienced with Google Workspace and Slack
Thrive in a collaborative environment and communicate clearly and professionally
