Senior Consultant
Job Description
We are looking for a Senior SAP EWM Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to lead design, configuration, and implementation activities in large-scale SAP transformation projects. The candidate will work closely with business users, technical teams, and project managers to deliver high-quality EWM solutions aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations (embedded or decentralized) including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand warehouse processes such as inbound, outbound, internal movements, cross-docking, and physical inventory.
Configure EWM components such as warehouse structure setup (storage types, sections, bins, work centers), RF framework and mobile data entry, labor management and wave management, slotting/re-arrangement and yard management, and integration with SAP MM, SD, and TM modules.
Define and document functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user training.
Provide post-implementation support, resolve incidents, and optimize processes.
Lead or mentor junior consultants and participate in project governance.
Required Skills and Experience
6–9 years of total experience with at least 4+ years of hands‑on SAP EWM experience.
Experience in at least two full‑cycle EWM implementations.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
Knowledge of integration with ECC/S4HANA, including Inbound/Outbound, HU Management, and MFS (Material Flow System).
Experience with EWM‑MFS, RF Framework, and Batch/Serial Number Management is an advantage.
Experience working in S/4HANA Embedded EWM environments preferred.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage client interactions.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, or related fields.
