The team is hiring an IP Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain IP-based network infrastructures supporting large-scale fibre deployments. The role will focus on ensuring network performance, security, and scalability while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Oversee the installation, layout, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
Design, analyze, and provide technical support for fiber and copper-based networks.
Research and evaluate new network technologies; recommend equipment purchases.
Support Windows and Linux-based back-office systems and participate in an on-call rotation with engineers.
Assist with provisioning and technical support as needed.
Skills/Must Have
In-depth working knowledge of Calix and Cisco network equipment.
Intermediate expertise in routing (BGP, OSPF), switching, and PON configurations.
Familiarity with fiber termination specifications and Unix-based scripting.
Strong project management, written, and communication skills.
Knowledge of PON and DSL networks, outside plant equipment, and Carrier Grade NAT.
Background in facilities setup (power, space, HVAC, cabling).
BS in Information Technology or equivalent education and 5+ years in network engineering (2+ years in systems engineering).

$70,000 - $110,000 a year
